Discover A A Bailar!

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

¡A BAILAR!

An outdoor dance floor in an unconventional setting, closely connected with the landscape and surroundings. A half-day event that ends at sunset, where good music—regardless of style or trend—meets dancing bodies that are natural, diverse, real, and beautiful.
A festive gathering that is intergenerational, local, and sustainable. A gathering to dance with the body, spirit, and the land.

A BAILAR

In the words of the renowned Portuguese neuroscientist and neurologist António Damásio: “To believe that the most refined operations of the mind are separate from the structure and functioning of the biological organism is a mistake, because the brain and the rest of the body constitute an indivisible organism integrated by biochemical and neuronal regulatory circuits that relate to the environment as a whole.” With a passion for dance and teaching, A Bailar was born in 2010 as an innovative space to promote dance culture. Over the past decade, we have organized numerous workshops and events that have inspired hundreds of people to discover the world of dance. In short, dancing improves our lives and those of our fellow human beings. Dancing improves our world.
